Have a good stretch

Did some yoga last night at the gym. I really enjoy it especially that I am horrible when it comes to flexibility. Sadly, the class starts pretty late and after doing my usual cardio and lifting, it gets me home after 8 pm, and that makes for a pretty late dinner.

Holding strong at the gym

Apple Fitness has been seeing my face a lot lately. After work it will make another 5 days a week session. And tonight will be the ultimate show of will power. Going to the gym for a legs workout rather than attending the Beer Bash(Free food and Beer/Wine). This may seem like a real test, but to be honest, I haven’t had a sip of beer or any alcohol for at least a month. I honestly can’t remember the last time was.

And I am going big time. Not only is it legs, but I am going to be putting deadlifts back into my exercises. I am pretty fired up for it.

I also got a new digital scale that tracks progress. I didn’t have it when I started, but based on what the physician’s scale at the gym told me, I was probably at 202 pounds. Yesterday the digital scale had me at 192.8. Not bad for 3 weeks considering I am not starving myself, and I am also putting on muscle. The current goal is 180, but it’s also about clothes fitting, and just looking great. After all, I’m Handsome.

Testing out the new iPhone app

WordPress just came out with a new version of their iPhone app so I am testing it out. It’s version 1.2. I will add a picture too of something. Hmm what should I take a picture of?

Asparagus Pee

In addition to some delicious swordfish, last night I ate asparagus. Note just some asparagus, I ate a TON of asparagus. Not only did my pee before bed smell, but my pee at work the next day, that I took moments ago, smelled.

It’s really a magical vegetable.

The Gym. And the rest of this week.

I’ve now made it two weeks at the gym.  4 days a week for both weeks(maybe five if I go over there now after I finish this blog post.)  I am feeling good.  All of the expected soreness is there.  And fading.  It’s such a triumphant feeling when your legs and arms are in so much pain just to walk around, and then you turn a corner, and each stride hurts less and less.  Hopefully I can turn another corner from feeling gross, to feeling fit and trim again.

Watched a few movies over the past week or so. Harry Wilson’s war was pretty good.  Solid dialogue between Tom Hanks and Phillip Seymour-Hoffman, but the movie faded towards the end.  Then I watched the Hulk with Edward Norton.  Not bad for “mmm action,”  but no where near as good as Iron Man.

Sad. I lost my background.

I seemed to have screwed up my theme when I just did the wordpress update.  Now I have a boring blue header, unlike the one I had before.  Hmmmm….I wonder if this is worth working on.
